70-year old nursing assistant arrested for performing over 1,500 illicit cosmetic surgeries on 1,000 victims

 South Korean nursing assistant has been arrested for illegally performing plastic surgery on about 1,000 patients over a period of three years.

The nursing assistant, only identified as a 70-year-old man, posed as a doctor from 2015 to 2018, performing some 1,500 illicit cosmetic surgeries on around 1,000 victims.  Through the illegal medical practices, he earned about 1 billion won (about 900,000 U.S. dollars).

 A 56-year-old plastic surgeon, the head of a clinic in Joongrang district in eastern Seoul, was also arrested for his collusion with the nursing assistant in violation of the medical law. The nursing assistant attracted customers from beauty salons and skin care shops near the clinic, mainly performing face-lift and double eyelid surgeries.  

Other employees of the clinic thought that the nursing assistant was a real doctor as he and the chief surgeon kept it secret thoroughly, the police was quoted as saying. The nursing assistant and the clinic owner denied all charges brought against them.

Woman suffered a rare brain disorder which made her believe she was the Messiah

A woman woke from a coma with a rare brain infection that turned her into a ‘different person’ and made her think she was the Messiah.

Evie Moore, 23, from Cirencester, Gloucestershire, who is not religious, became convinced that she was ‘a messenger from God’ due to the disorder known as encephalitis – a serious inflammation of the brain.

She spent two months in the hospital being treated for the disorder which causes the body’s immune system to start attacking healthy brain cells. It was so severe that it made her even temporarily forget who her parents were.

Evie has now recounted the moment the disorder struck when she was 20. 

She remembers lying on the floor next to her hospital bed, creating the sign of the cross.

She said:

When the junior doctor came to see me, I’d say, ‘Hello, I’m a messenger from God and I’ve been sent from heaven.

She said it began with paranoia and feelings of jealousy. Then she had a seizure while at her parents' house and she was rushed to the hospital where she was put into an induced coma. By the time she woke up, she couldn't remember anything neither could she recognize her family. 

Evie was discharged after one week in the hospital and sent home to the apartment she shared with her boyfriend. This was after her memory returned and she could recognize her parents and sister. 

But she only got worse and had to return to the hospital.

She added:

I started becoming delusional, too.

Once, I was watching the news on TV completely petrified, as I thought that I was there in the war zone that they were reporting on.

Things came to a head a week after going home when, lying in bed beside her boyfriend one night, she believed her mother was dead.

She recalled:

I sat bolt upright and was totally convinced she had died, as if someone had just told me, and started getting ready to leave the flat and go to my parents’ in the middle of the night.

It was clear then that I needed to be back in hospital again.Readmitted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Evie was diagnosed with psychosis, a common symptom of encephalitis, which usually develops a few weeks after the initial seizure.

She was eventually diagnosed with encephalitis after two weeks back in hospital under observation.

Evie continued:

I had no knowledge of who I was anymore. The medics put me in a room on my own and I could see the birds flying outside and thought that I could, too.

I was desperately trying to jump out of the window and fly and my dad using all his force to pull me back.

I turned around and just shouted ‘f*** off’, and I remember seeing him tear up at those words.

Unfortunately, her relationship did not survive the illness. Two weeks before the end of her nine-week stay in hospital, her boyfriend confessed he could not cope with the change in her and he broke up with her.

Despite no longer experiencing religious delusions, Evie says encephalitis has changed her personality – making her less inhibited – and also blames it for ending her first serious relationship.

She said:It’s very upsetting, because I feel like I am better and I am back to normal, but I know that something has changed and my mum and dad sometimes comment on things that I might say that before I wouldn’t have done.

And, after the breakdown of my last relationship, I stopped looking for love because I was worried that my illness would mean we just broke up again.

She has found love again and she said her new man knows all about her past - the ailment that changed her - and he made her "feel so much better.

A jilted boyfriend whose girlfriend had traveled out of town decided to confront her for allegedly cheating on him as he waited to welcome her at the airport.

The Australian man turned up in the arrival area at Melbourne Airport in Australia holding a giant sign that read: 'I know you cheated'.

A Melbourne traveller who spotted the funny message shared a picture of the man holding they the sign above his head via her Twitter page.

A married South African woman, Sophie took to Facebook to share the sad story of how her 4-year-old son was killed by armed robbers on Monday, January 20th.  Read her heartbreaking post below:

Doctor came and call me and my husband to come and say our last goodbyes to our son whilst the heartbeat was going down to 0 and finally dead.

I had never imagined in my whole life Eth would dead at some point and leave us,I was always seeing myself died at a late age and leave Eth as an independent grown man..but I was wrong.. I was lying to myself. 

Me and my husband we're hardly trying to cope with the situation but it real feels like a dream..we find ourselves crying all the time,we blame ourselves maybe we would have done something extra to save our son's life..alot is going on in our mind .

shy little boy, intelligent, affectionate,friendly and he had a missing baby teeth,and always like to cuddle with his mom.

Lil Wayne files $20 million suit against his former lawyer for 'overcharging him' for 13 years.

American rapper, Lil Wayne has filed a $20 million lawsuit against his former attorney Ronald Sweeney, over claims he charged him beyond the industry standard for 13 years.

In the court documents obtained by TMZ, the 36-year-old Grammy Award-winning rapper claims that Sweeney who served as his lawyer from 2005 through September 2018 charged him 10 percent when most deals in the industry were around five percent.

According to Lil Wayne, the up-charge saw Sweeney make $20 million during his tenure.

It was also claimed in the document, that the lawyer got greedy and started proposing he get an additional 10 percent of all profits from Wayne's label, Young Money but the rapper prevented that from happening. 

In the suit, he says Sweeney managed to pull even more funds out of Wayne by enlisting the help of another law firm for the ongoing legal battles with Birdman and Cash Money Records, as well as Universal Music Group. 

Wayne added that the firm got 23 percent of the Cash Money settlement and 15 percent of the Universal Music Group settlement. Those percentages were added onto the 10 percent Sweeney was already expected to receive.  

The Louisiana rapper is suing his former attorney for at least $20 million.  

Ekiti Student Caught Hiding His Classmate’s Underwear With Charm Inside Wardrobe

A 100-level student of the department of English Language in the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has been disgraced and handed over to the police after the boxers belonging to his classmate was found tied with charms inside his wardrobe in the school hostel on Monday January 28th.

According to students in the school, the boxers belonged to the representative of Pace Setters Hall of Residence Comrade Akinola Ayomide, popularly known as Mayegun. The underpants were found with Tunde, but popularly known as Zacchaeus

The students claim Zacchaeus is an internet fraudster, also referred to as yahoo yahoo, due to his questionable lifestyle.

Zacchaeus according to his classmates had boasted that he would buy a car before the year ends. There have been cases of missing boxes prior to when he was apprehended but the students had always found the missing boxers.

We didn’t trust Zaccheus from the beginning. Lately, he has been singing around that he will purchase a car before the end of this year. One of us, who kept his piano in the wardrobe, wanted to take it out when he, unfortunately, saw the calabash hidden inside the wardrobe. On checking it, he found the male underpants of Mayegun.

He was able to recognise it because the male underpant has a hole. Mayegun had complained that the underpant had loosened and become too big for him before it disappeared. He called on us and we saw the boxer along with schnapps and other fetish items wrapped around it. When we searched the wardrobe further, we discovered two other underwear.

“This provoked other residents of the hostel who resorted to demonstration. The angry students descended on Zacchaeus and almost beat him to a pulp. Zacchaeus was on the verge of being set ablaze when he was rescued by the porters in the residence, who immediately got in touch with the Director of Students’ Affairs, who in turn, called the security personnel. The Directorate of Students’Affairs, the security personnel, and student representative bodies immediately rushed, to the scene to control the situation” a student of the school told The Nation

The victim who was beyond shock, said

I went to town yesterday and on my way back, I saw one of my friends who pointedly told me: ‘You have been used’. I couldn’t understand this until I was taken to the room of Zacchaeus where I saw my underwear in a kind of calabash along with schnapps and some fetish items wrapped around it. I could hardly wait for Zacchaeus’ arrival and I asked him how my underwear got to his wardrobe along with those charms. He tried to escape, but we chased and grabbed him

The Director of Student Affairs in the school, Charles Egunjobi, described the incidence as ‘unbelievable and unexpected’, promising that management would treat the matter with despatch.

This is really unusual of the school. The management has issued a directive that the guy should be handed over to the police. As you can see, the police from the Ikere-Ekiti Area Command are here. Next time, when students are involved in a situation like this, I expect them find a lasting solution through non-violent means. The students aren’t supposed to make a noise or take laws into their hands,  Egunjobi said

A half-naked woman was caught masturbating in public and was arrested. But she continued masturbating even as police handcuffed her and put her in a police car.

Dovie Nickels, 26, was seen performing the sex act on the patio of the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday evening. Austin PD officers were called to the hotel after a worker claimed to have seen Nickels ‘holding a silver object’ against her privates ‘with her legs straight up in the air, spread open.’

The woman is accused of continuing to behave indecently after she was arrested with no pants on while performing a solo sex act.

According to court documents seen by the Austin American Statesman, the worker who walked in on the scene ‘could hear Nickels making moaning noises.’ When he tried to approach her to tell her to stop what she was doing, she yelled at him to get back.

Nickels is said to have spent around seven or eight minutes masturbating on that patio, before moving to the terrace of the nearby Second Bar + Kitchen to continue pleasuring herself.

 When approached by a cop, she is said to have stopped moving her arms under the table and placed them on top of it. It was then police officers noticed that Nickels was not wearing any pants.

After being arrested, cuffed, and put in the back of a cruiser, she is said to have continued masturbating.

Nickels, whose Facebook page lists her as a worker for Sonic Drive-In, has been charged with indecent exposure and is currently in Travis County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bond

Schoolgirl, 13, found hanged after telling teachers she was too scared to go home

A schoolgirl was found hanged days after a family dispute over chores. It has now been revealed that prior to her death, she told teachers at her school that she was afraid to go home.

The body of Amber Peat, 13, was discovered in bushes three days after she disappeared from her home in Mansfield, England, after a family dispute.

Teacher Joanne Holland said she previously phoned the girl’s mother Kelly Peat after the girl told her she was afraid to go home.

Speaking at Nottinghamshire Coroner’s Court, Mrs Holland said:

She was worried about going home because she had lost the belt off her coat.

She basically said she was scared she was going to get told off.

I had to phone home and tell mum, “It really is fine, we will find it”.

School support manager Emma Dunn added Amber was normally pleasant and bubbly but this changed when she was around her parents in a meeting and she became quiet and withdrawn.

In a statement, Miss Dunn said it ‘left her with an uneasy feeling.’

The school meeting took place a year before Amber was found hanged in bushes on June 2, 2015.

Amber was a pupil of Tibshelf Community School at the time the meeting between her parents and the school held. There had been concerns about Amber's behaviour and the meeting was meant to address these but it could not be completed because her mother, who was pregnant at the time, had to leave after becoming ill.

Amber later moved to Queen Elizabeth School in Mansfield soon after the meeting.

Miss Dunn said: ‘She didn’t want to move. I think she was settled, whether they were her words or not.’

The coroner asked: ‘During your time with Amber, was there a mention of self-harm, suicide, anything of that nature?’

Miss Dunn said: ‘None at all.’

The inquest continues.

'Too blessed to be stressed' - Blac Chyna says as she shares saucy new photos after violent fight with her ex- Kid Buu

Earlier this week, Blac Chyna and her now ex-boyfriend Kid Buu were involved in a violent fight that saw Police and paramedics rush to the scene during their Baecation in Hawaii.

As we previously reported, Chyna accused Kid Buu of cheating before an argument erupted and turned violent. She scratched Kid Buu, who also slammed her against the wall several times and choked her.

No arrest was made and no one was seriously hurt after the violent fight.

On Thursday morning, the mother of two, 31 took to Instagram to share a series of saucy photographs of herself and captioned one of the posts: 'Too blessed to be stressed'

Photos: Singer, Melissa Whiskey's mother murdered by her aggrieved workers in Lagos

A Nigerian singer, Melissa Whiskey's mum, Mrs Abimbola Olusola(right), was recently murdered in Lagos state by her aggrieved staff.

Mrs Olusola who owns Etashol Hotel and Suites, and the manager of her hotel, Tunji Omikunle, were strangled by some workers at the hotel located on Budland Street in the Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State, on January 24th.

According to the police, Olusola who lived in London for 35 years, returned to Nigeria in 2018 to set up a hotel in March of the same year.

Olusola and Omikunle had recently discovered that some of their employees had defrauded the company of money running into millions. They were handed over to the police and sacked afterwards. Last Thursday, the aggrieved workers and some other staff still in the employment of the hotel, conspired to kill Mrs Olusola and Omikunle who recently welcomed a set of twins.

 The suspects allegedly deactivated the Closed Circuit Television cameras on the premises of the hotel, dragged the manager into a toilet, where his hands and feet were tied. Tunji was strangled, after which the suspects proceeded to Olusola’s room in the hotel where she stayed and strangled her too.

Relatives of the deceased said that the suspects fled the hotel, as family members met the lifeless bodies of the victims in the hotel.

The dastard act was discovered when the 12-year-old son of Mrs Olusola who resides in the hotel with his mum, went to her room to check on her before leaving for school. There he found her remains on the bed and raised an alarm.

The police at the Ojodu Abiodun Police Station was alerted and the case has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, where one of the workers is being interrogated.Meanwhile, Melissa has taken to IG to mourn the gruesome murder of her mother. A heartbroken Melissa wrote

Gospel singer, Funmi Aragbaye loses her husband

Funmi Aragbaye, a popular gospel musician and National President of the Gospel Musicians’ Association of Nigeria, has lost her husband, Elder Bola Aragbaye.
 

Elder Aragbaye died at about 2:30pm on Wednesday January 30th aged 77, at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

During his lifetime, he worked at the Nigerian Tribune as a journalist under the supervision of ex-Governor of Lagos State Lateef Jakande, after which he left in 1967 to join The Sketch Press Limited, where he rose to become Editor.

He was appointed Chief Press Secretary to the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin, a former Governor of Ondo State, in 1981. He clocked 77 on November 10, 2018, and is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and other family members.
